Time to relax a little and think back to school days and cartoons past.  Here's our list of the Top 10 Cartoon Birds.

10.  Baby Huey
Baby Huey was an oversized baby duck that had a short run in the 1950's as a Paramount cartoon character.

9.  Gandy Goose
Not too many people will remember Gandy Goose but I love this cartoon and the voices of the stars that were mimicked.  Gandy was voiced to sound like Ed Wynn.

8.  The Little Lion Hunter
This cartoon does not really star a bird and some may consider it politically incorrect in some ways.  I barely remember anything about the cartoons except the Minah bird and his music.  He hopes along to Mendelssohn's "Fingal's Cave Overture, Op. 26".  Even as a very young kid I liked the music.

7. Daffy Duck
Daffy starred and co-starred with several Looney Tunes characters

6. Tweety Bird
I taut I taw a putty cat. Many will rank Tweety Bird near the top, but he was not my favorite, and Sylvester the Cat shares the stage.

5. Foghorn Leghorn
"Hold On I say,  hold on.  Can Foghorn Leghorn be ranked at only no. 5?

4. Heckle and Jeckle
This underrated cartoon pair starred in over 50 cartoons.  The guys once stared in the prime time (1956) CBS Cartoon Theater, hosted by a gentleman named Dick Van Dyke.  They looked more like a crow or raven to me, but were promoted as magpies.

3.  The Roadrunner
A classic Saturday mourning cartoon.

2.  Woody Woodpecker
Who can forget his heee-haaa-ha laugh?

1.  And our no. 1 cartoon birdDonald Duck
A great character and a great voice - everyone used to have their imitation of Donald speak.
