Many people associate Bald Eagle feeding tactics with the taking of fish. There are many videos on YouTube of eagles catching fish.
Eagles are large, powerful predators and will feed on other birds. Audubon has recently published a video of an Osprey Nest Cam on Hog Island off the cost of Maine. The video shows a Bald Eagle swooping in to take a large Osprey chick from the nest. One chick bails out of the nest before the eagle arrives, another was not so lucky.
