6. Buick Skylark
First appearing in 1953-54, as a special edition RoadMaster, in celebration of Buick’s 50th anniversary. The Skylark was produced as a model, in six production runs, until 1998.

5. Ford Falcon
The Ford Falcon was produced by Ford from 1960 to 1970 across three generations. An early compact car from an American manufacturer.

4. Aston Martin Cygnet
Not sure James Bond would be excited by this vehicle from Aston Martin. Looks more fitting for Austin Powers. It was produced for 2 years, 2011 to 2013.
3. Plymouth Roadrunner
Introduced in 1968, the Road Runner was an attempt to offer a striped-down, fast and cheap Musclecar. Plymouth paid fifty-thousand dollars to Warner Bros.-Seven Arts for the rights to use the Road Runner cartoon characters likeness and ten-grand more to develop the “beep beep” sounding horn.

2. Stutz Black Hawk
The Blackhawk was an automobile manufactured by the Stutz Motor Car Company in Indianapolis from 1929 to 1930.

The Stutz Motor Company was revived in August 1968 by New York banker James O’Donnell. Cars were manufactured from 1971 through 1987 and a Stutz Blackhawk was produced. Other than the name it bears no resemblance with the original Stutz Blackhawk, which has that classic look going for it. Should have stayed with the original design.

1. Pontiac Firebird
My favorite, although not named after a real bird. It was built by Pontiac from 1967 to the 2002.
The 1977 Trans-Am Special Edition Firebird became famous after being featured in Smokey and the Bandit and was of course Kitt in the Night Rider TV show.
The 3rd Generation of Firebirds consisted of three models: Firebird, Firebird S/E, and Firebird Trans Am.
I owned a 1968 Firebird 400, (similar to the one pictured) – 4 on-the-floor, dual barrel carbs. Still one of my favorite cars.
